Wellbeing and connection shaped the mix of focus rooms, wellness and end-of-trip facilities, while the breakout, kitchen and outdoor area form a social heart for informal exchange and team events.
This project exemplifies Venko’s ability to translate complex technical requirements into user‑centric spaces. For OMICRON, the new fit-out will not only streamline operations but also reflect their global standing as a trusted partner in advancing safe and reliable electrical power systems.
OMICRON’s new Melbourne workplace is designed to support every stage of the company’s operations. A global leader in testing, diagnostics, monitoring and calibration solutions for the electrical power industry, OMICRON required a central base that could bring its services laboratory, product showroom, training academy, warehouse, logistics operations and workplace together under one roof.
Driven by the company’s expansion and need for greater operational efficiency, the back-of-house and semi-industrial areas bring its logistics, customer service and technical functions into one connected environment. Ample storage, a loading dock and dedicated areas for managing inbound and outbound orders support the efficient movement of equipment, while the services laboratory provides space for high voltage product testing, calibration and development. Visual connectivity was prioritised in the spatial planning between the office, operational and technical areas to strengthen safety, team cohesion and access to natural light for everyone.
