Venko’s Melbourne studio is a true reflection of who they are; a space where design, purpose and story intersect.

Design elements throughout the space are carefully considered to support both function and feeling. Lighting is calibrated to mimic daylight, maintaining a calm, ambient atmosphere while avoiding harsh fluorescent tones. A custom metal mesh feature weaves through the centre of the floor plate, adding texture and a sense of movement that unifies the studio. Pops of burgundy in the furniture bring warmth and depth, including the unmistakable Pantone chair, a playful nod to design heritage.
The breakout area is designed to adapt, shifting from team lunches to client presentations, industry panels or the occasional Friday evening bar setup. Like Venko’s work, the studio is flexible, intentional and built to evolve.

From the outset, the aim was to create a workplace that felt authentic to the way the team works and connects. A space designed to support conversation, encourage the sharing of ideas, and create an atmosphere that feels genuinely welcoming — a place where clients and peers feel comfortable dropping in.
The studio is composed of zones that support different modes of working. A long bench by the window invites deep focus and the occasional moment of people-watching. Generous surfaces accommodate the laying out of palettes and design development. Natural light fills the space, while views over Exhibition Street and the Paris end of the CBD bring a constant buzz of activity and inspiration.
